Mike & Maura Engagement

DC and Old Town, Alexandria

Kicking off the blog with this sweet couple! Mike + Maura are awesome, and have a way about them that is so genuine and easy. They’ve been such a pleasure to get to know and I can’t wait to photograph their wedding next year! For their engagement session, we took full advantage of the great sites around here. We visited the cherry blossoms, DC monuments, and finished through the streets of Old Town, Alexandria. The amazing weather, coupled with Mike + Maura’s contagious sense of humor made for such a fun evening! I love the combination of joyful, heartfelt, and playful imagery we captured – and of course the golden lighting was an added bonus! Isn’t Maura beautiful?!
