Anais and I are close friends from graduate school, and when she reached out to me to photograph her engagement session I was overjoyed! Of course I was absolutely honored to share in celebrating their love! We chose a random weekend in the Spring, hoping we’d have the beauty of Cherry Blossoms, but knowing it’s hard to predict peak bloom. But my goodness, we were lucky and they were perfect! We had the most glorious morning during peak season of the Cherry Blossoms in Washington, DC — It was truly the best!

I have no doubt these two are meant for one another. They are both so selfless, compassionate, and kind. It’s exciting to think of the qualities they will bring to one another that will together, make for a sweet sweet marriage.
