Sweet Spring Family Session at Wheatland Spring Farm & Brewery
Some places carry more than just beauty; they hold memory, legacy, and love. This spring, I had the honor of photographing a family on their own land: a quiet, meaningful session beneath the old Kwanzan cherry trees at Wheatland Spring Farm & Brewery, their family business and home.
The pink blooms were breathtaking, but the real magic came from the stillness and connection—siblings laughing in the shade, parents holding tight to the moment, and a mother who wanted to preserve not just the season, but the feeling of this chapter in their life.
Afterward, she told me: “Thank you so much! I almost cried a couple of times thinking about the kids having these to look back on when they are grown.”
That’s the heart of family photography. It’s not just about today, it’s about giving your children a way to remember what it felt like to be home.
