The Mini & Midi Session Process
HOW THIS WORKS

SELECT YOUR DAY & TIME
I periodically send out sign-up invitations via email to email subscribers, allowing you to reserve spots for mini/midi sessions. Alternatively, you can directly inquire about availability. Once signed up, you can choose your preferred day, location, and time based on the options provided.

PREPARE
Before the photo session, I will send you a contract, questionnaire, and invoice. The questionnaire assists in streamlining the session by gathering necessary information beforehand. Additionally, I will provide a Style Guide & Tips for Success to help you prepare for the shoot.
03.
PHOTO DAY
On the day of the photo session, it’s recommended to arrive 10-15 minutes early to ensure readiness. This ensures a prompt start and allows you to feel relaxed and prepared. Before beginning, conduct a final check to ensure everyone's attire is neat and tidy, and remove any unnecessary accessories such as watches, cell phones, or hair ties.
04.
GALLERY REVEAL
Following the session, you will receive your final gallery of high-resolution edited images within 2-3 weeks. These images will be accessible through an online gallery for your viewing pleasure.

A Mini/Midi session is shorter than a Full photography session and takes place on specific dates & locations. They are a seasonal offering, whereas you can book a Full photography session any time of the year!

What is the difference between a Mini/Midi Session & a Full Session?
Mini & Midi sessions are both offered at select times of the year, for specific dates & locations. Mini sessions are 10 minutes with the return of 15+ images. Midi sessions are 25 minutes with the return of 40+ images. Both Mini & Midi sessions are returned in a gallery of downloadable edited full-resolution images.

Most of the time, the Mini & Midi sessions have predetermined locations and dates/times already selected. Sarah offers a full range of locations throughout the Northern Virginia area. You are always welcome to contact Sarah directly with any personal requests!

Can I choose the location for my Mini & Midi session?
Generally speaking, wear clothes that are comfortable and reflects your personal style first and foremost! I recommend avoiding busy patterns or logos that can distract from the main focus of the photos. Coordinating colors among family members can create a cohesive look. Aim for a good range of neutral tones to soften your final imagery. Look out for my style guide once you book your session!

Up to 6 people included! I recommend a larger session for a bigger group so we have ample time to photograph.

Double check in advance the location allows animals, but if they do, of course! Bring your dog or pet along to be a part of our session.

Sarah releases Mini & Midi session signups a few times a year! Be sure you’re on the email subscriber list to be the first to know. In most cases, you will be booking your session 1-3 months in advance!
