The Patel Family | Old Town Alexandria Family Session

Photographing the Patel family each year is such a joy. Every session with them feels like a reflection of the season they’re in—new milestones, evolving personalities, and fresh backdrops that highlight their love and connection in unique ways.

This year, we met in Old Town Alexandria, one of my favorite Northern Virginia spots for its blend of historic charm, cozy fall ambiance, and storybook streetscapes. From the colorful row-houses and cobblestone alleys to the tree-lined sidewalks and golden afternoon light, this session had the perfect mix of joy and warmth.

Over the years, we’ve explored different corners of the DC and Northern Virginia area, each offering a new tone to their family story. Whether it’s the city’s architectural icons or leafy local parks, this family always brings a sense of ease, laughter, and genuine connection to every session.
